Description: Sootpaw is a rather small cat but looks relatively normal sized because of all her fur. Very fluffy, the poor kit suffers in Scorchclan's heat. Her fur has a very silky feel and when wet, completely weighs the kit down. Sootpaw's main fur color is a normal gray. All four paws are a darker shade of gray that match the 'mask' on her face. Her chest fur is a silverish color that matches the young cat's ear tips. White 'eyebrows' above her eyes are present. Her eyes are a deep blue with a very strong purple tint.

Personality: Sootpaw is a very inquisitive apprentice. She has a problem with talking to her elders because she can't keep her mouth shut once she opens it up. She has a knack for getting into any sort of trouble, although she truly means well. Sootpaw is very honest; almost brutally honest. She'll say what's on her mind without a filter and often ends up hurting others because of it. She detests lying and if someone lies to her she sees it as one of the highest betrayals possible. She seems sort of dopey with her idiotic grin on at most time, but the kit is actually rather smart because of her curiosity and persistence. She is very loyal and protects her friends at all times.

History:
Sootpaw was born in the Scorchclan nursery in early spring to a queen by the name of Serpentstrike. Serpentstrike was a dark gray fluffy cat with serpent-like stripes along her pelt and mystifying lime eyes. Serpentstrike loved her only daughter very much and raised her ignorant of her father for her first 6 moons. Once Sootpaw became of apprentice age, her mother told her a very vague description of the rogue that was her father and made the young cat promise never to seek him out. The young kit loved her mother and would do anything to make her happy so she immediately accepted and never really thought of her father again. She excelled in her warrior training and worked harder than most in the Scorchclan heat. Her mother was also a loyal and hard-working warrior and one day pushed herself to her limit. The heat had finally gotten to the long-haired cat and the queen had passed from overheat. Sootpaw took her mother's death hard but it just made her want to try harder to become a warrior to impress her mother's soul.

Role-play Example:
The gray she-cat crouched on the sand lightly, hesitant to make any movement in case she disrupt the sand and make a noise. Almost... there. The black bird on the dried log a few feet away continued preening its feathers, completely unaware of the inexperienced cat ready to try to catch it as prey. One... more.. step! Sootpaw slowly raised her paw and took a step closer the raven. She winced waiting to see if her pawsteps made any noise but was pleasantly surprised to see she had gotten closer to the prey without making a noise. The she-cat let out a relieved sigh before her purple eyes widened at her mistake. No! The young cat jumped towards the bird already taking flight in fear. "No, no, no!" the young cat wailed before crashing to the earth in a heap. Sootpaw sighed miserably before muttering, "I can't do anything right..."

I should've given her less points in speed but the guide said apprentices could have average which was 3.

Is it bad that in my mind I have given her the voice of young Kiara from Lion King 2? ([link])
I hate Kiara with a passion but it just fits little Sooty so well. xD
